The team at Psychologists on Herold offer a range of psychotherapeutic and assessment services to the community of Stellenbosch, including children, families, parents, adolescents, students and adults.
Our resident furtherapist, Finley the Golden Retriever, welcomes all with a big smile and a wag of his tail.
The Team's Areas of Special Interests
Anxiety and mood disorders, eating disorders, trauma, life adjustments, maternal mental health, loss and bereavement, relationship difficulties, transpersonal psychology, neurodiversity, gender identity, self concept, psychoeducational assessment and career assessment.
At Psychologists on Herold, a range of evidence-based therapies and assessments are offered that are tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. The team offers psychotherapy, sandplay therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT), play therapy, family and couples therapy, parental guidance, psychoeducational assessments and career assessments. The aim is to help clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and to develop effective coping mechanisms. Services are available for children, teenagers, students, and adults.
