Child Therapy Consultation
For your child (Grade 1 - Grade 7)
Service Description
A play therapy appointment is scheduled for your child after the initial parent consultation. Therapy appointments occur once a week, preferably on the same day and time to ensure consistency for your child's process. The session is 45 minutes long. It is kindly requested that you arrive on time when your child's appointment ends as no child supervision can be provided.
Cancellation Policy
Kindly note that a 24-hour cancellation policy applies. The reason that there is a cancellation policy is because in the helping profession, we are only able to see so many clients in a day, and when a session is cancelled with limited notice, we are unable to fill that time slot with a client from the waiting list. This time therefore becomes “dead stock” and represents an unrecoverable loss to the practice. The intention is not to punish the client and of course, we understand that life happens, but a 24 hour cancellation policy ensures the healthy survival of the practice, allowing me to continue to provide a service to you - my valued clients.
